Roundup is transported throughout the plant where it acts on various enzymatic systems inhibiting amino acid metabolism and is known as the shikimic acid pathway. this pathway exists in higher plants and microorganisms but not in animals.  plants treated with glyfast slowly die over a period of days or weeks. because the chemical is transported throughout the plant and no part survives.

Roundup is a broad spectrum, non-selective systemic herbicide.  it is effective in killing all plant types including grasses, perennials and woody plants.  glyfast works by being absorbed into the plant mainly through its leaves but also through soft stalk tissue. effective on hard to kill weeds and best suited for crop weeds inter row application and non-crop areas. glyfast is safer for birds, mammals and soil microorganisms.
